When the Shark Bytes
Shark’s the name because pool's been the game. Shari Stauch competed
professionally for 20 years, helped create the Women's Pro Billiard Tour, publicized
the tour and its top players, and even co-wrote three pool instruction books to encourage aspiring players.
In 1983, Shari and fellow pool aficionado Harold Simonsen created Pool & Billiard Magazine, and
nearly 25 years later, it's still the #1 publication for pool fans worldwide! So,
you’ll find pool & billiards to be a common theme throughout the site.
As Shari explains it, "Even if you didn’t
